The fastest route is inside the app: Settings → Report an issue, which sends us what screen you were on. If you would rather email, the three things that save a round trip are:
A screenshot is worth all three.
No, and there is no way to make it. Habit Comp never asks for a bank, card or account number, and it does not move money. “Pay myself” records a payment you made yourself, however you actually made it. The balance in the app is a score you keep.
Three things have to be true, and the app can only see the first two. The value has to be switched on in Settings → Apple Health; iOS has to have been asked (the same screen has a Connect button, and a ↻ to ask again for anything new); and you have to have said yes in the iOS permission sheet. iOS deliberately never tells an app whether you said yes, so if a habit sits at zero, check Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Habit Comp on your iPhone. Readings arrive on the phone — a web browser has no Apple Health to read, so it shows what the phone last saw.
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password? and enter the address you signed up with. If no email arrives, check that it is the address you actually used: a typo gets no email and no error.
In the app: Settings → Start over → Delete my account. It deletes your habits, check-ins, ledger, notes, health readings, penalties, friendships, competition entries and notification registrations, and removes your sign-in. It cannot be undone — export your data first from Settings → Your data if you might want it. If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address you signed up with and we will do it.
No. A comp scores points, points are never money, and the app holds no money and pays no prize. Anything a group arranges between themselves happens outside the app.
Yes — your account is the app, so an iPhone, an Apple Watch, an Android phone and a web browser all show the same habits and the same balance. Apple Health readings are collected by the phone and shown everywhere.
Yes, on an iPhone, through Apple's Shortcuts app — when a pill dispenser says a dose was taken, when you tap your phone on a sticker, when your alarm stops. The Shortcuts guide has the steps and a recipe for each.
Yes. There are no in-app purchases, no subscription and no ads.
